These outer rear seatbelts provide extra protection for your passengers in the back. They distribute the force of an impact across a wider area of the torso and help support the head and neck.They also hold people in the correct seating position, which can help reduce the risk of injury in a front or side impact.

Airbags all-round

Knowing you’re surrounded by protection is a good feeling. With driver and passenger airbags, seat-mounted side airbags and one for the driver’s knee in the front, as well as side-curtain airbags for people in the front and back, that’s a lot of peace of mind.

Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)

The combination of Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Traction Control helps keep you connected to the road and in control, especially around corners and when overtaking. Together with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) they help reduce the chances of wheel spin, wheel lock and over- or under-steering.

Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection1

Designed to help you avoid front-end collision, the system uses radar and camera technology to scan the road ahead. If a vehicle or pedestrian is detected, the system gives you a visual and audible warning. And if you don’t respond in time, your Mondeo brakes for you.
